TL;DR
Sr Associate Compliance (Biotechnology): Supporting and overseeing corporate healthcare compliance programs, policies, risk assessments, training, and compliance metrics with an accent on U.S. healthcare regulations and pharmaceutical operations. Focus on interpreting OIG and IFPMA guidance, analyzing compliance data, improving compliance processes, and advising cross-functional stakeholders.

Location: US - California - Thousand Oaks; telecommuting may be available.

Salary: $136,739 per year, plus stock, retirement, insurance, and bonus eligibility.

What you will do

  • Partner with U.S. Compliance Leads to implement and oversee corporate compliance programs across therapeutic areas and business functions.
  • Advise staff and managers on interpreting and applying company policies, procedures, laws, and regulatory standards.
  • Design and deliver healthcare compliance training, educational materials, and workshops.
  • Support compliance risk assessments, monitoring activities, and risk-mitigation initiatives.
  • Evaluate compliance processes, recommend improvements, and track actions using performance indicators and business data.
  • Develop compliance metrics and trend analyses for strategic reporting to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Academic, internship, research, thesis, or professional experience interpreting OIG Compliance Program Guidance or IFPMA guidance for pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Experience applying U.S. healthcare compliance laws, including the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Sunshine Act, and FDA promotional compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of biotechnology and pharmaceutical operations, including clinical trials, commercial operations, and medical operations.
  • Experience supporting risk assessments, monitoring, or internal audits in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare environments.
  • Experience with compliance data analysis, EthicsPoint, and developing healthcare compliance training programs.
