Corporate Compliance Director (Oncology)

Location: US Remote; duties are primarily performed from a remote home-office environment. Approximately 10–20% travel is required, with occasional evening or weekend work based on business needs.

Salary: $160,000–$210,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Advise Oncology leadership and Sales, Marketing, Medical/MSL, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders on healthcare compliance.
• Provide practical, risk-based guidance for commercial initiatives, pharmaceutical collaborations, clinical trials, companion diagnostics, and precision medicine activities.
• Advise on healthcare professional engagements, including advisory boards, speaker programs, consulting arrangements, and referral-source interactions.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and improve healthcare and clinical laboratory compliance programs, policies, controls, and remediation strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments, monitoring, testing, investigations, audits, and compliance training.
• Monitor U.S. healthcare laws, regulations, OIG guidance, and industry practices, communicating actionable recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, biology, pharmaceuticals, business, legal studies, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant healthcare compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare laws and regulations, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Civil Monetary Penalties Law, and exclusion authorities.
• Experience advising business stakeholders, assessing and mitigating compliance risks, and developing appropriate controls.
• Strong executive presence, communication, critical-thinking, judgment, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical laboratory, or diagnostics organizations.
• Experience with pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials or collaborations, ideally in oncology.
• Knowledge of oncology, companion diagnostics, precision medicine, or clinical laboratory compliance.
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance or an equivalent certification; a master’s degree or JD is also considered.
• Experience evaluating AI and other emerging technologies in healthcare or clinical environments.
