TL;DR
General Compliance Analyst I, II or III (Healthcare Compliance): Developing and operating compliance programs that prevent, detect, and remediate violations of health care laws and regulations with an accent on risk assessments, monitoring, auditing, and corrective actions. Focus on coordinating regulatory activities, conducting root cause analysis, maintaining policies, and managing complex compliance matters across the organization.

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in the office at offices in Portland, Medford, Fargo, Burlington, Vancouver, Renton, Boise, Lewiston, or Salt Lake City. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of one of these locations.

Salary: Annual ranges vary by level and location, from $59,716.46 to $155,000, with bonus targets of 10% for Analysts I and II and 15% for Analyst III.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, deliver, measure, and refine compliance activities and controls.
  • Conduct risk assessments, monitoring, audits, investigations, root cause analyses, and control assessments.
  • Coordinate regulatory audits, compliance reporting, corrective actions, and implementation oversight.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and desk manuals.
  • Manage compliance projects and collaborate with divisional and cross-divisional committees.
  • Support specialized activities including external audit coordination, delegation oversight, data validation, and marketing material oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Analyst I: 3 years of compliance-related experience; Analyst II: 5 years; Analyst III: 8 years.
  • Experience with compliance activities such as risk assessments, training, monitoring, auditing, reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Strong project management, research, analytics, communication, presentation, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
  • Proficiency with office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a health care, Medicare-regulated, or ACA-regulated environment.
  • Legal research skills and familiarity with applicable legal requirements.
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies for professional productivity and decision-making.
