Compliance Oversight Specialist (Non Clinical)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the Continental United States

Salary: $56,200–$101,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct focused compliance reviews, audits, oversight, and monitoring activities.
• Assess government-sponsored health care contracts, requirements, and compliance risks.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare formal reports, recommendations, workpapers, and supporting evidence.
• Coordinate with business owners and delegated subcontractors to resolve compliance issues and implement remediation.
• Review corrective action plans and report progress to stakeholders, oversight committees, senior management, and the Board's relevant committee.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent applicable experience: associate degree plus four years, or high school diploma/GED plus five years.
• At least three years of experience in managed care or health insurance.
• Ability to assess compliance risks, analyze requirements, and prepare accurate oversight documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with internal departments and delegated subcontractors and influence remediation activities.
• Experience with State Medicaid or federal managed care compliance is preferred.
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) certification is preferred.

Nice to have

• At least one year in a project oversight role.
• At least one year of experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
