Vision Center Manager L3 (Optical Retail)

Location: Howell, New Jersey, United States; onsite at the hirify.global Supercenter

Salary: $38.50–$50.00 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone compensation.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory control, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of economic and community needs.
• Lead customer service operations and resolve customer issues within company standards.
• Oversee eyewear consultations, product selection, measurements, prescription verification, minor frame repairs, and optical equipment maintenance.
• Hire, train, mentor, schedule, recognize, and develop Vision Center Associates.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, confidentiality standards, safety controls, asset protection, and quality assurance processes.
• Coordinate community outreach, stakeholder relationships, business initiatives, performance measurement, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or one year of retail experience plus one year of supervisory experience, or two years of general work experience including one year of optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Ability to supervise, train, and develop Associates.
