Location: Onsite at 2809 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Maryville, Tennessee, United States

Hourly wage: $28.00–$43.00 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay adjustments.

Walmart operates the Vision Center within its retail supercenter environment.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through effective merchandising, competitive pricing, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of community needs.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign, recognize, and develop Vision Center Associates.
• Ensure quality eyewear service by consulting customers, selecting products, taking measurements, verifying prescriptions, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining optical equipment.
• Maintain compliance with company and legal requirements, including confidentiality, asset protection, safety, and quality assurance controls.
• Resolve customer and Associate concerns in line with company policies and the Open Door Policy.
• Coordinate initiatives with stakeholders, track goals and results, address improvement opportunities, and support continuous learning.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or qualifying combinations of retail, supervisory, general work, and optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Ability to supervise Associates and deliver customer-focused optical services.
