Hourly wage: $28.00–$43.00 per hour, with potential performance-based bonuses.

Walmart operates the retail Vision Center and provides optical products and services within its Supercenter network.
What you will do
- Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory availability, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Lead customer service activities and resolve customer complaints and issues within company guidelines.
- Oversee eyewear consultations, product selection, measurements, prescription verification, minor frame repairs, and optical equipment maintenance.
- Hire, train, mentor, supervise, and recognize Vision Center Associates while fostering a culture of belonging.
- Monitor compliance, asset protection, safety, quality assurance, confidentiality, and operational controls.
- Coordinate business initiatives, stakeholder relationships, performance measurement, and continuous improvement plans.
Requirements
- Completion of two or more years of college, or one year of retail experience plus one year of supervisory experience, or two years of general work experience including one year of optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable Kentucky state laws, regulations, and rules.
- Ability to work onsite at the Shelbyville, Kentucky Walmart Supercenter.
