Vision Center Manager L3 - NYS Licensed - East Greenbush, NY (Optical Retail)

Location: East Greenbush, New York, United States; onsite at Walmart Supercenter, 279 Troy Road.

Hourly wage: $38.50–$50.00 per hour, plus potential performance-based bonuses and regional pay adjustments.

What you will do

• Manage daily Vision Center operations, including merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, and sales performance.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign duties to, and recognize Vision Center Associates.
• Provide optical services by consulting with customers, selecting eyewear, taking measurements, verifying prescriptions, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining optical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, confidentiality standards, asset protection controls, safety procedures, and quality assurance reviews.
• Resolve customer and Associate concerns through Walmart’s service standards and Open Door Policy.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and support community outreach programs and business initiatives.

Requirements

• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable New York State laws, regulations, and rules.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of two or more years of college, or one year of retail experience plus one year of supervisory experience, or two years of general work experience including one year of optical experience.
• Ability to work onsite at the East Greenbush, New York Vision Center.

• Experience supervising Associates.
