Vision Center Manager NL 1 (Optical)

Location: Onsite at 7800 Smith Rd, Denver, Colorado, United States

Hourly wage: $33.50–$43.50 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses.

Walmart operates the retail Vision Center where customers receive eyewear products and optical services.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Lead customer service and resolve customer issues within company standards.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign, recognize, and develop Vision Center associates.
• Ensure quality eyewear services, including customer consultations, measurements, prescription verification, minor frame repairs, and optical equipment maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with company and legal requirements, including safety, asset protection, quality assurance, confidentiality, and operational controls.
• Build stakeholder relationships, support community outreach, measure results, and implement continuous-improvement plans.

Requirements

• Completion of at least two years of college, or qualifying combinations of retail, supervisory, general work, and optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable Colorado state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Experience supervising associates is preferred.
