Electrical Project Engineer I/II

Location: Findlay, Ohio, United States; other L&SE locations may be considered. Hybrid work schedule with 25–35% travel, including overnight travel, to field locations or fabrication sites. Relocation assistance is available.

What you will do

• Manage multiple electrical engineering projects through conceptual, feasibility, definition, implementation, and start-up or close-out phases.
• Define project scope, estimates, schedules, engineering designs, equipment selections, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with departments, subject matter experts, technicians, vendors, supply chain, project controls, and local authorities.
• Prepare bid requests, evaluate contractors, and oversee construction, permits, management of change, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor project quality, cost, schedule, productivity, and resource performance, resolving critical variances.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and apply relevant engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Industry experience at any level is considered; no minimum experience is required.
• Experience or knowledge related to power distribution systems, medium- and low-voltage equipment, MCCs, PLCs, instrumentation, conduit, wire, and fiber infrastructure.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 25–35% of the time are required.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen; strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
