Machine Operator - Punch Press 2nd Shift

Location: Chicago major market; onsite manufacturing work with extended standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, repetitive hand and arm movements, and exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

Salary: $44,000–$52,000 annually, plus performance-related bonus plan.

What you will do

• Operate production equipment according to standard work instructions.
• Load and unload materials, components, and finished products.
• Perform assembly, machine operation, packaging, and related manufacturing tasks.
• Inspect products against quality requirements and specifications.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately.
• Support equipment changeovers, basic setup, equipment monitoring, 5S, and daily production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing, production, or related experience.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and reliably in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
