2nd Shift Machine Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; onsite, second shift

What you will do

• Set up, load, and operate specialty manufacturing machinery and related equipment.
• Fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Interpret dimensional drawings, routings, written instructions, and work documentation.
• Perform SPC and quality checks using calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe 5S work environment while following standard work instructions.
• Rotate across department workstations, participate in improvement activities, and work overtime when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience demonstrating competency.
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using information-system computer databases.
• Basic math skills and the ability to use required measuring tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and use hands throughout the shift; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Regular, predictable attendance and flexibility to work hours surrounding the assigned shift are required.
