Location: Hybrid in Oakland, California, with remote work and attendance at the Oakland office approximately 1–2 days per week or more based on business needs.
Salary: $155,000–$210,000 annually; Bay Area salary range: $155,000–$265,000. The role is also eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.

What you will do
- Develop technology roadmaps for Asset Management, including inspections, risk management, analytics and reporting, and digital twins.
- Assess current application environments and define future-state IT target architectures for asset and risk domains.
- Partner with senior business and IT leaders to align enterprise strategy, investments, portfolio modernization, and business capabilities.
- Lead vendor assessments, support RFPs, and drive application rationalization efforts.
- Coordinate roadmaps across enterprise groups to manage dependencies, conflicts, redundancies, and interdependencies.
- Provide architecture guidance to delivery teams through reusable patterns, reference architectures, decision frameworks, and implementation best practices.
Requirements
- 10 years of enterprise architecture experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Experience with diverse technologies and platforms, business and data architecture, capability mapping, process reengineering, solution architecture, and project implementation.
- Ability to solve complex issues with cross-functional teams and work in an agile environment.
Nice to have
- Utility industry experience, particularly in asset and risk management, inspections, analytics and reporting, or AI implementation.
- Experience with SAP, GIS, enterprise reporting and analytics, and AI implementation for asset risk management.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Architecture certification such as TOGAF.
