Enterprise Architect (AI)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; onsite. Global travel of approximately 10% is required.

Annual salary: $190,000–$220,000 USD, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Define and evolve enterprise-wide technology architecture aligned with business strategy and CIO priorities.
• Develop the enterprise architecture charter, services, value proposition, and outcome-driven metrics.
• Analyze the current technology state, identify gaps, recommend investments, and rationalize the portfolio to reduce technical debt.
• Define architecture principles and target-state roadmaps across cloud, AI, data, and security domains.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and decision boundaries for security, privacy, compliance, and AI agent lifecycles.
• Advise business and IT leaders on technology demand, build-versus-buy decisions, cost, risk, and complexity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture.
• Ability to balance long-term and short-term business and organizational objectives.
• Ability to influence without authority and communicate with executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of existing, emerging, and generative AI technologies and their applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and modeling, including TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML, capability modeling, or process modeling.
• Experience designing secure, private, compliant systems in regulated environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and secure architecture.
• Experience with EA tools such as SAP LeanIX.
