VP, Enterprise Architecture - Modernization (AI)

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States; primarily office-based

Base salary: $126,000–$171,000 annually for Jersey City; $118,000–$178,000 annually for New York. Eligible for a bonus.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise modernization strategy and implementation planning for new and emerging technologies.
• Shape cross-line-of-business IT strategies covering modern data platforms, integration techniques, taxonomies, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Develop enterprise architecture approaches for AI/ML, GenAI, and agentic frameworks supporting intelligent assistants, workflows, and autonomous systems.
• Define AI/ML and agentic architecture standards, controls, guardrails, and technical recommendations.
• Establish hybrid cloud reference architectures and integrate emerging technology patterns into enterprise roadmaps and operating models.
• Manage and supervise enterprise, domain, and technical architects while leading architecture governance, design reviews, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems analysis, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years across at least three technology disciplines, including architecture, application development, infrastructure, information security, or operations in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• 10+ years in technology leadership roles.
• Expertise in GenAI/ML, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, open data, DevSecOps, predictive analytics, and AI/ML.
• Knowledge of information management, SDLC, IT service management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
• Strong strategic problem-solving, fiscal management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
