Sr Configuration Analyst (Aerospace)

Location: Dayton, OH, United States; office or hybrid environment required, with occasional project travel.

What you will do

• Manage configuration activities for critical aerospace and defense projects.
• Maintain accurate and timely product data, including parts and bills of materials.
• Lead configuration audits, verification, product structure development, and documentation.
• Direct configuration change management, including evaluation, implementation, and tracking.
• Collaborate with executive management, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve configuration issues.
• Mentor configuration analysts and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• 10+ years of configuration management or related experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Expert proficiency with PLM systems and configuration management principles.
• Experience with multidisciplinary design and development teams, product structures, documentation control databases, and engineering release processes.
• Ability to lead a team, analyze complex data, interpret technical documents, and communicate effectively.
• U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or certification in configuration management.
• Experience with PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA, PDM/PLM, and CAD tools.
• Knowledge of AS 9100, ISO 9001, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, IEEE 828, or CMMI standards.
• Familiarity with project management, parametric design, model-based definition, manufacturing, and production processes.
