Electrical Engineer (RF)

Location: Middletown, Rhode Island, United States; must be local to the work location with occasional telework

What you will do

• Analyze sensor data and performance specifications at part, subassembly, and assembly levels, recommending acceptance or rejection of materials.
• Create, publish, and support data products such as antenna manifold and gain calibration files.
• Inspect and test incoming electrical and RF materials, including evaluation of vendor-provided test data.
• Support sensor production, assembly troubleshooting, repairs, and evaluation of fielded products for electrical and RF compliance.
• Review and redline performance specifications and engineering drawings before release.
• Support bench-level and platform testing at shipyard and waterfront locations and design RF, fiber, and copper cables to military specifications.

Requirements

• Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience with submarine systems.
• Understanding of microwave/RF engineering, including microwave network analysis and microwave systems.
• Experience with RF test equipment such as FieldFox, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and noise figure meters, plus common laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency with MATLAB or similar tools and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
