Electrical Engineer, Journeyman (MATLAB)

Salary: $90,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop electrical and electronic equipment, including broadcast, communications, radar, navigation, lighting, wiring, motors, and machinery controls.
• Write performance requirements and develop equipment maintenance schedules.
• Test equipment and troubleshoot operating problems.
• Estimate engineering project timelines and costs.
• Use computer-aided engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
• Support and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to complete a government security investigation are required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Experience with cable block diagrams, cable run sheets, and cable fabrication drawings.
• Experience using MATLAB, along with strong documentation, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
