RF/Microwave Engineer II

Salary: $86,706–$144,510 per year, with an annual or quarterly bonus potentially applicable.

What you will do

• Design and evaluate RF microwave components, assemblies, and test circuits for customer-driven development and internal R&D.
• Perform 3D simulations, design optimization, fabrication-tolerance analysis, and performance assessment against requirements.
• Prepare technical presentations, simulation results, tolerance analyses, and documentation for internal and customer design reviews.
• Develop test procedures and stations, correlate expected performance with test results, and perform data reduction.
• Support designs during production, including manufacturing reviews, MRB activities, and customer reporting.
• Collaborate with test engineering, technicians, interns, customers, and multidisciplinary teams while managing assigned schedules and priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Electromagnetic Fields; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of microwave theory and transmission-line concepts, with the ability to create producible designs.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, HFSS, circuit simulation tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and MATLAB.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when required; ITAR-related technical data access is restricted to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents.
