Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office at an office in Portland, Medford, Fargo, Burlington, Vancouver, Renton, Boise, Lewiston, or Salt Lake City. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of their selected location. Local or out-of-state travel may be required.
Compensation varies by role and location. For Consulting Research Associate II, expected hiring ranges are $76,500–$103,500 in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho, and $81,679.05–$110,506.95 in North Dakota. For Consulting Research Analyst, expected hiring ranges are $92,700–$125,400 in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho, and $90,906.65–$122,991.35 in North Dakota.

What you will do
- Provide consultation on the design, testing, enhancement, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare programs and corporate initiatives.
- Extract, cleanse, aggregate, combine, and analyze data from multiple sources using analytical and statistical tools.
- Develop queries, reports, dashboards, presentations, and visualizations for standard and ad hoc business requests.
- Evaluate program performance, identify root causes, and translate quantitative and qualitative findings into recommendations and action plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to define requirements, resolve issues, build consensus, and support strategy development.
- Present findings to internal and external customers, including leadership, and support acceptance testing of reports, programs, and models.
Requirements
- Consulting Research Associate II: BA/BS in social science, public health, economics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related field, plus at least 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Consulting Research Analyst: BA/BS in a relevant field plus at least 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Experience with Alteryx, SAS, SQL, R, Tableau, or comparable analytical and statistical programming tools.
- Experience with data preprocessing, querying, statistical analysis, visualization, forecasting, experimental design, statistical inference, or predictive modeling.
- Ability to interpret complex data, apply healthcare and regulatory knowledge, and develop practical solutions for business partners.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, project coordination, and stakeholder communication skills. A background check is required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or PhD.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies for productivity and decision-making.
- For the Analyst level, experience providing higher-level consultation, training, and staff development.
