Senior Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Boston, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization.

Base salary: $88,561–$104,190 per year.

What you will do

• Translate business problems and requirements into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.
• Extract, transform, analyze, model, and visualize data using reporting and analytics tools.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for users across the organization.
• Connect disparate data sources, coordinate data requirements with analytics and IT teams, and evaluate new data sources and tools.
• Support data governance by analyzing data quality issues, identifying root causes, and strengthening data integrity.
• Assist data scientists with data preparation and analysis, explain complex analytical work, and train staff on data definitions, sources, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred.
• At least three years of relevant experience in analytics, informatics, or statistics, or an advanced degree.
• Knowledge of relational databases and reporting or analysis tools.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Excel, SQL, or similar tools; experience with advanced analytics tools is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship, including visa transfers, is not available.
