Data Analyst (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work once a week in Bethesda, Maryland, United States. Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Secret Clearance.

What you will do

• Analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple Military Health System sources to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
• Work with DHA stakeholders, technical teams, and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into data-driven insights.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, troubleshooting, and documentation of data processes and reporting methodologies.
• Support recurring reports, ad-hoc data requests, client meetings, and ongoing program initiatives.
• Communicate hirify.globall findings to technical and non-technical audiences and contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• At least one year of experience working with Military Health System data, including M2, MDR, or similar healthcare data repositories.
• At least one year of experience creating and maintaining dashboards with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience in a client-facing role supporting stakeholders or program leadership.
• Experience with at least one of SAS, SQL, R, or Python, plus strong hirify.globall, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Defense Health Agency, the federal government, or the Department of Defense.
• Knowledge of healthcare analytics, population health, medical data reporting, and healthcare data governance, privacy, or compliance.
• Experience with large healthcare datasets and enterprise reporting systems.
