Senior Analytics Consultant - Pharmacy Data Steward

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

Base pay: $84,400–$152,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Provide pharmacy analytics support for clinical, business, and analytics stakeholders.
• Champion data development, governance, stewardship, and lineage initiatives.
• Act as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and IT/BDS teams.
• Develop agile interim solutions using Alteryx, SAS, and other ETL platforms.
• Query internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights.
• Lead analytical initiatives and deliver high-quality outputs to senior leadership within short timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 4 years, PhD with 2 years, or 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare services, statistical analysis, insurance economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
• Experience creating dynamic dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, or comparable data visualization tools.
• Ability to translate business cases into customer or partner execution and lead analytical initiatives to completion.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work in a hybrid Chicago-based role, with 3 days in the office each week.

Nice to have

• Deep healthcare industry expertise in payor, provider, pharmacy, or epidemiology environments.
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or Amazon Redshift cloud data warehouses.
• Familiarity with Collibra, Alation, or Informatica for data cataloging, metadata management, stewardship, and lineage.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
