Dispatch Specialist (Southfield, MI)

Location: Full-time, onsite in Southfield, Michigan, 5 days per week, typically 9 AM to 5 PM

Compensation: $41,600–$47,840 per year, paid on an hourly basis, with overtime eligibility and participation in the company bonus plan.

What you will do

• Own an assigned territory and learn its operational requirements, including regional licensing and coverage rules.
• Match service-of-process jobs with independent contractor process servers and keep the dispatch queue moving within SLA targets.
• Build professional relationships with process servers through phone, text, and email, while recording preferences and job outcomes.
• Communicate with clients, negotiate service solutions, and set pricing that works for both servers and the business.
• Document client and server communications, decisions, pricing information, and network gaps.
• Use dashboards and performance data to identify trends, improve workflows, and support marketplace operations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in dispatch, logistics, operations, customer service, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort making outbound phone calls every day.
• Ability to build trust-based relationships with independent contractors or other partners.
• Excellent time management and organization, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in macOS and Google Suite, including Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
• Ability to learn new technology and procedures quickly in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in dispatch, logistics, or operations.
• Experience with a marketplace or gig-economy platform.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools for self-service analytics.
