Logistics Analyst (Dispatcher)

What you will do

• Coordinate drivers, trucks, containers, routes, and daily service capacity.
• Analyze route data and update routing plans to improve standardization, efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.
• Monitor vehicles and drivers in transit, resolve operational issues, and provide timely direction.
• Manage missed pickups, service exceptions, customer promises, and communication with affected customers.
• Review disposal plans, swing-route opportunities, load capacity, and route sequencing with Operations Management.
• Promote compliance with safety, hours-of-service, weight, and asset-security requirements.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and time-sensitive tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of prior experience as a dispatcher or in a similar leadership role is preferred.
