Industrial Paint Prepper - 2nd Shift

Location: Dodge Center, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $18.50–$24.70 per hour, based on experience, plus a $2 per hour second-shift differential

McNeilus, an hirify.global company, designs and manufactures refuse truck bodies and related equipment for waste collection fleets.

What you will do

• Wash, clean, degrease, and wipe down vehicles, parts, and equipment before painting.
• Remove and replace components required for painting and sanding.
• Mask, paper, or grease unpainted components and perform sanding and minor bodywork.
• Operate dual-action hand sanders, electric lifts, hand tools, and small power tools.
• Work across production areas as needed, follow work instructions, and maintain quality standards.
• Handle and dispose of materials safely and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to follow all safety and compliance regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and regular attendance.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Participation in onboarding and annual hazardous-waste-handler training under EPA RCRA requirements.
• High school diploma or GED is not required.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of applicable experience.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
