Staff Analog IC Engineer (Mixed-Signal)

Location: Hyderabad, India; onsite

What you will do

• Design and develop high-accuracy analog and mixed-signal ICs that meet specifications and delivery timelines.
• Own critical chip subsystems and serve as a domain expert.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Definition, Test, Verification, Reliability, and Product Engineering teams.
• Drive innovation in circuit design and architecture to improve performance and efficiency.
• Document design and characterization results and communicate complex technical concepts through reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or a related engineering field and 6+ years of analog IC design experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Deep knowledge of CMOS/BiCMOS analog circuit design and strong mixed-signal design experience.
• Technical lead experience on chip development projects.
• Expert proficiency with Cadence design, simulation, and verification tools, plus Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, and mixed-signal simulation.
• Knowledge of DFM, reliability, yield optimization, parasitics, matching, ESD, latch-up, crosstalk, IR drop, LVS, DRC, PEX, and post-layout simulation.
• Fluent written and spoken English; experience translating MEMS models into equivalent circuits.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate qualification such as an MSc or PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience with mixed-signal laboratory validation techniques and equipment.
• Experience translating haptic actuator models into equivalent circuits.
• Experience with chip top-level verification and production.
• Familiarity with high-voltage and high-current ASIC design.
