MTS- Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Bangalore, India. Full-time role with approximately 10% travel; relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests and reports.
• Develop and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform engineering analysis and implement mechanical solutions for complex product issues.
• Design and implement custom tooling, fixturing, and processes for component handling, assembly, and disassembly.
• Technically lead projects, develop suppliers, establish operational standards, and communicate complex information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field.
• 10–15 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T, flow analysis, and Design for Excellence principles.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the hirify.global product life cycle, including prototyping, packaging, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
