Manager Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Bangalore, India. The role includes approximately 10% travel and is relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a multi-level organization of approximately 50 manufacturing engineers, managers, technical leads, and contractors.
• Own end-to-end OMS/iOMS delivery across multiple business units for NPI, high-volume manufacturing, supplier and contract manufacturing, and field installation programs.
• Align OMS priorities, capacity, and execution plans with product roadmaps, factory requirements, build schedules, and customer commitments.
• Drive readiness, first-time-right performance, on-time-to-commit performance, SLA adherence, productivity, quality-escape reduction, and nonconformance closure.
• Establish operating mechanisms, scorecards, standards, risk reviews, root-cause and corrective-action processes, and executive escalations.
• Define the OMS digital roadmap covering automation, AI-enabled solutions, next-generation platforms, and model-based manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, product engineering, or manufacturing operations, including leadership of managers and large technical teams.
• Experience with NPI, high-volume manufacturing, manufacturing readiness, product documentation, operational excellence, and complex electromechanical or semiconductor equipment.
• Strong executive communication, cross-functional influence, organizational change leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of PLM, CAD, SAP, MES/iOMS, digital manufacturing, automation, and AI-enabled engineering solutions is preferred.
