Strategic Sourcing Manager - Procurement (Professional Services)

Location: USA, Illinois; remote or hybrid work arrangement to be confirmed with talent acquisition

National pay rate range: $98,230–$186,220 per year

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing for professional services purchases, including needs assessments, RFx processes, and enterprise agreement negotiations.
• Manage contract renewals at least 90 days before expiration to optimize terms and right-size licenses.
• Build total cost of ownership and return on investment models to support contracts and supplier KPI compliance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements for sourcing events.
• Manage supplier relationships through business reviews, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
• Provide market intelligence and sourcing insights to support professional services category strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.
• Deep knowledge of consulting and service deliverable-based contracts.
• Strong analytical skills, including spend data, utilization metrics, TCO modeling, and ROI analysis.
• Ability to work from the USA, with the specific remote or hybrid status confirmed during the hiring process.
