Category Manager (MedTech Procurement)

Location: Irvine, California, United States of America; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $102,000–$177,100 base pay range

What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies for CSS materials and electronic systems suppliers.
• Manage supplier identification, evaluation, relationships, contracts, pricing, quality, and risk.
• Oversee approximately $100MM in procurement spend and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify innovative suppliers to support new product development and the R&D pipeline.
• Collaborate with EM Make, R&D, VSL, Engineering, QA, and Finance stakeholders to support EP/NV growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 4 years in procurement focused on components and raw material suppliers.
• Procurement experience with components and products related to the electrophysiology industry.
• Experience developing and executing strategic procurement plans in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, supplier contract management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience developing teams and shaping organizational structures, with strong Credo values.

Nice to have

• Experience across category sourcing, new product development sourcing, or other sourcing areas.
• APICS, ISM, or Six Sigma certification.
• Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities.
