Senior Engineer, Process Engineering (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain processes, equipment data, and process controls for advanced filter production lines.
• Align process and machine data with other plants to establish process flows and control standards.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, routings, safety reviews, test specifications, and process documentation.
• Manage yield, operating performance criteria, performance analysis, FMEA, and SPC controls.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans using Six Sigma tools in collaboration with quality, product engineering, manufacturing, and sales and marketing.
• Lead technology transfer from new product development to manufacturing and implement cycle-time and yield improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 7 years of process or equipment engineering experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Proficient English communication skills required.
• Ability to travel globally approximately 10% of the time.
• Ability to complete a 4–8 week orientation and training period at hirify.global facilities.
• Ability to learn new science, technology, and equipment-based assembly processes.

Nice to have

• Lean or Green Belt certification.
• AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience.
• Japanese language skills.
• Knowledge of SPC and SAP.
