SCT Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Plan and manage daily production operations, staffing levels, and department budgets.
• Ensure production safety, product quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and cost performance.
• Lead and develop direct and contract employees through training, communication, and performance guidance.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma principles, including Statistical Process Control and DMAIC, to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor department metrics, perform analytical problem solving, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with standard work, safety policies, work instructions, processes, and equipment requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least five years of manufacturing experience, including experience leading or directing the work of others.
• Approximately three years of direct supervision experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred for the ideal candidate.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and high-performance work teams is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership-by-example, standard-work, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification is desired; root cause analysis or Six Sigma training is a plus.
