Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid schedule with work in the office at least four days per week and flexibility to work from home one day per week. Applicants must already have U.S. work authorization and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Base salary: $158,000–$237,000 per year, plus potential variable compensation such as bonuses, commissions, and long-term incentives.

What you will do
- Conduct fundamental research across Consumer Discretionary and Consumer Staples sectors, industries, and companies.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, price targets, risk assessments, and buy, hold, or sell recommendations.
- Partner with portfolio managers and investment leadership on holdings, candidate investments, benchmark performance, and portfolio changes.
- Prepare research reports, earnings updates, sector commentary, thematic publications, and presentations.
- Support advisor engagements, educational events, webinars, and due diligence discussions by explaining complex investment analysis clearly.
- Maintain documentation, governance, and compliance standards for research and recommendations.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in consumer-sector equity research, investment analysis, asset management, or a related investment function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Applicable securities licenses or registrations, or the ability to obtain required licenses within the established timeframe.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, scenario analysis, and investment recommendation skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, including the ability to present complex investment views.
- Existing U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship requirements.
Nice to have
- MBA, CFA designation, or another advanced degree.
- Experience in buy-side, sell-side, registered investment advisor, separately managed account, or institutional investment environments.
