Senior Equity Analyst & Reporter, CNBC

Location: Hybrid position based at CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, with at least three days per week in the office. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: USD 150,000–200,000 per year

What you will do

• Identify investment opportunities through research into company financials, market trends, and industry developments.
• Analyze balance sheets, income statements, valuation metrics, and complex financial data.
• Interview analysts, investors, industry leaders, and C-suite executives to gather original insights.
• Report from the field and build Wall Street sources into actionable investment perspectives.
• Write differentiated equity research and explain investment ideas clearly on air for CNBC audiences.
• Assess the impact of technology, regulation, and economic conditions on company prospects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in equity research or a proven record of writing comparable content for a major publication.
• Outstanding writing, research, communication, quantitative, and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, company fundamentals, and valuation.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and produce differentiated research under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-intensity environment.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and availability for a hybrid schedule with at least three office days per week.

• Established relationships with Wall Street investors and analysts.
• MBA and/or CFA credential.
• Experience in a fast-paced digital newsroom.
