Sr Finance & Expense Analyst

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid

Salary: $81,280–$121,920 per year. Geographic-specific ranges may apply, including $89,440–$134,160 and $93,440–$140,160.

What you will do

• Manage monthly expense reporting, spend monitoring, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Build complex financial models to evaluate strategic decisions, cost drivers, unit costs, and internal benchmarks.
• Provide expense management consultation and present recommendations to executives, department heads, and senior management.
• Identify cost-control and process-improvement opportunities across functions and departments.
• Ensure expense activity follows accounting controls, company policies, and statutory or GAAP standards.
• Lead special projects involving expense management, product-line allocations, financial reporting, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field; an accounting emphasis is preferred.
• Typically 5 or more years of financial management or financial planning and analysis experience.
• Strong analytical, planning, organization, budgeting, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and interpret financial models for complex analysis and make decisions across leadership levels.
• Ability to present recommendations, manage confidential information, and prioritize multiple assignments.
• CPA or CMA designation is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with PeopleSoft, IBM TM1, Apptio, or project portfolio management systems.
• Experience with payroll accounting, fixed assets, intercompany charges, or procure-to-pay processes.
