Auto Damage Trainee (Field)

Location: Onsite field territory in San Francisco, CA; this is not a remote role. The position includes three weeks of hands-on training at the Ashburn, VA facility and two weeks at a field training center in NY, TX, or CA.

Salary: $32.05–$50.36 per hour.

What you will do

• Inspect vehicles and assess accident-related damage.
• Write repair estimates and negotiate equitable settlements.
• Review insurance contracts and consult with involved parties.
• Coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Resolve customer concerns and support a positive claims experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, adaptability, and prioritization skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer-facing experience, high-volume call-center experience with KPIs, and an active adjuster license are preferred.
