2027 Early Careers: Summer Intern, Claims – United States, Atlanta, GA & Jersey City, NJ (Insurance)

Location: United States — Atlanta, GA and Jersey City, NJ. In-person work is required at least four days per week.

Hourly pay: $28.64–$32.94

What you will do

• Support the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims.
• Analyze claims and operational data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance customer experience.
• Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, legal, HR, operations teams, clients, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor claims activity, respond to customer inquiries, and support accurate payments, reserving, and cost management.
• Promote consistency and claims best practices across the organization.
• Gain exposure to claims adjusting and examining, administration and analytics, fraud and recovery, account relationship management, and claims operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree expected no later than June 2028; an unofficial transcript is required with the application.
• Availability for the complete nine-week internship from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
• Ability to work in the office at least four days per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, collaboration, prioritization, adaptability, and attention-to-detail skills.
