What you will do

  • Study metabolic processes regulating stem cell development, blood disorders, and childhood cancers.
  • Investigate metabolic vulnerabilities and therapy responses in genetic blood disorders.
  • Characterize metabolic dependencies and biomarkers in childhood cancers.
  • Develop high-throughput multi-omic approaches to target metabolic liabilities in cancer stem cells.
  • Build computational approaches for integrating metabolomics, transcriptomics, and genomics datasets across development and disease.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in metabolism research, biochemistry, molecular biology, hematology/oncology, or a related field.
  • Strong background in a relevant biomedical research area.
  • Independence, flexibility, creativity, and a record of scientific productivity.
  • Previous experience in metabolomics, computational biology, and/or hematology-oncology is strongly preferred.
  • Submit a CV, a short summary of research interests and experience, and three references.
