Electronics Technician Level (Electronic Assembly) (Aerospace)

Location: Burbank, California, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $32.00–$53.00 per hour, depending on Electronics Technician Level II or III and candidate qualifications.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets, including brake control systems and cabin actuation solutions.

What you will do

• Perform calibration, functional, automated, performance, and acceptance testing on electronic subassemblies and end items.
• Operate test equipment including multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, bridges, oscilloscopes, altitude chambers, flow meters, and hi-pot equipment.
• Adjust components and mechanical elements, perform electrical and mechanical calculations, and verify product performance against specifications.
• Interpret work orders, drawings, schematics, test procedures, failure reports, manuals, and production specifications.
• Create non-conformance reports and document test results, failures, and initial root-cause investigation findings.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, KPIs, standard work, and problem solving.

Requirements

• Only US persons will be considered where access to controlled data or information is required; ITAR requirements apply.
• 2–5+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment or equivalent educational background.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of manufacturing or repair product flow and computer systems.
• Ability to learn test software and equipment, identify non-conforming equipment and products, work with multiple software systems, and provide constructive feedback.
• Good written and oral English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and manufacturing distribution techniques.
• Associate degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent experience.
