Senior SIGINT Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; no remote or telework allowed

Salary: $135,035.83–$218,941.46 annually

What you will do

• Coordinate CONOPS development for SIGINT mission planning and scheduling systems.
• Develop architecture products and translate requirements into Epics and Features.
• Analyze system-to-system interfaces, integrate new systems, and evaluate design trade-offs.
• Assess developer performance, system schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Facilitate readiness, release planning, demonstrations, and Agile or DevSecOps verification activities.
• Support government acquisition activities, including SOWs, RFCs, ECPs, source selections, and future SIGINT capability studies.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret / SCI clearance with polygraph required and must be maintainable.
• Degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field, with 5–12 years of experience depending on degree level.
• Experience working independently on difficult technical problems and communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile software development, Confluence, and Jira.
• Ability to travel as necessary and work within SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Space or ground aerospace systems engineering and architecture experience.
• SIGINT ground, mission control, or processing systems experience.
• Government, DoD, or Intelligence Community acquisition and technical support experience.
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering, or relevant advanced degrees and certifications.
