What you will do

• Lead the development and integration of space capabilities across current and future systems.
• Perform mission engineering analysis and evaluate Design Reference Missions for risks, issues, gaps, and opportunities.
• Conduct system-level capability reviews and recommend solutions for mission-critical gaps.
• Support war room planning, capability epoch development, and kill chain assessments.
• Develop enterprise requirements and assess policy and technical drivers affecting system design, integration, and interoperability.
• Collaborate with government, SETA, FFRDC, contractor, Space Force, Space Command, and PEO personnel to deliver integrated space solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, physics, earth science, mathematics, operations analysis, or a related STEM field.
• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying space systems within United States Space Force or Department of Defense mission environments.
• Strong foundation in systems engineering, mission analysis, and system-of-systems integration.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary government, SETA, FFRDC, and contractor teams.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to brief complex technical topics to senior decision-makers; willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Master of Science degree in a related STEM field.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
