(USA) Vision Center Manager NL 1 (Optical Retail)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global Vision Center, 2129 W Houghton Lake Dr, Houghton Lake, Michigan 48629, United States

Salary: $24.50–$34.50 per hour, plus potential performance bonuses.

hirify.global operates retail facilities and provides optical, customer, and community services through its Vision Centers.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, signing, inventory availability, budgeting, and sales forecasting.
• Lead customer service practices and resolve customer complaints and issues within company guidelines.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to participate in local community activities.
• Monitor compliance, asset protection, safety, quality assurance, confidentiality, and operational performance.
• Hire, train, mentor, schedule, recognize, and develop Vision Center associates.
• Consult with customers on eyewear, take measurements, verify prescriptions, perform minor frame repairs, and maintain optical equipment.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or qualifying retail, supervisory, general work, and optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable United States state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Ability to supervise and develop associates while maintaining customer service and operational standards.
• Commitment to company policies, ethics, integrity, safety, and compliance.
