(USA) Vision Center Manager NL 1

Location: Danville, Illinois, United States; onsite at 4101 N Vermilion St Ste A

Salary: $24.50–$34.50 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses.

Walmart operates the Vision Center within its retail stores and provides optical products and services to customers and members.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of customer and community needs.
• Lead customer service and resolve customer concerns in accordance with company standards.
• Oversee eyewear consultations, product selection, measurements, prescription verification, confidential records, minor frame repairs, and optical equipment maintenance.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign, recognize, and develop Vision Center associates.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, legal requirements, safety standards, asset protection controls, and quality assurance processes.
• Coordinate business initiatives, stakeholder relationships, community outreach, performance plans, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or qualifying combinations of retail, supervisory, general work, and optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable Illinois state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Experience with optical services, customer service, sales, compliance, and team supervision.
