Mechanic - Natural Gas Pipeline – Shreveport, LA

Location: Onsite at the KinderHawk office in Shreveport, Louisiana. The role includes on-call responsibilities for nights and weekends.

What you will do

• Maintain and perform construction work on natural gas pipelines, compressor stations, treating facilities, rights-of-way, and grounds.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain structural, mechanical, electrical, and auxiliary equipment.
• Overhaul compressors, engines, turbines, motors, pumps, and process equipment.
• Analyze engine, compressor, pump, and motor performance and interpret operating reports.
• Train company personnel on mechanical equipment operation and maintenance.
• Inspect third-party construction and maintenance work, document activities, and correct safety and environmental concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of natural gas gathering pipeline and facility operations or maintenance experience.
• Experience with amine treatment, gas processing, or glycol treatment.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and work in extreme weather, confined spaces, elevated areas, low-lit areas, and physically demanding environments.
• Basic computer skills, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to follow safety procedures and established schedules.
