Maintenance Technician II (Manufacturing)

Location: Louisville, KY; onsite industrial manufacturing environment. Work hours: 3rd shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Perform electrical, mechanical, preventive, and facility maintenance to support equipment reliability.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, and install machinery and equipment components.
• Maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and automated systems.
• Operate machine tools and perform welding, torch cutting, fabrication, and repairs of machine parts and facility structures.
• Manage work orders, preventive maintenance records, breakdowns, inventory, parts charges, and time logs in the CMMS.
• Complete end-of-shift reports, respond to production issues, and coach safe work practices and PPE use.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience, or a related technical degree plus 3 years of experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, blueprint, schematic, and technical manual reading skills.
• Experience with welding, torch and cutting equipment, grinders, basic plumbing, mechanical measuring devices, and testing equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial equipment certification as required.
• Ability to work overtime, respond to urgent maintenance needs, work around production hazards, and lift up to 50 pounds.
