Tire and Battery Center Team Leader (Automotive)

Location: Weslaco, Texas, United States; onsite at the new Sam’s Club location.

Hourly wage: $22.00–$30.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead Tire and Battery Center associates and deliver safe, efficient, high-quality member service.
• Set goals and service standards while coordinating with other team leaders for a seamless club experience.
• Maintain expertise in tire and battery services, TPMS, recalls, equipment operation, product specifications, safety, and compliance.
• Train, coach, and develop associates through hands-on leadership, training programs, and ongoing feedback.
• Manage equipment, tools, supplies, inventory, returns, special orders, staffing, scheduling, registers, audits, and documentation.
• Use handheld technology, product applications, safety alerts, and business data to improve service and results.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of supervisory experience or 6 months of automotive industry experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete required job training and assessments within the prescribed timeframe.
• Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced Tire and Battery Center environment and follow safety and compliance standards.

Nice to have

• Supervisory experience in the tire industry.
• Tire industry certification.
