Vision Center Manager NL 1 (Optical)

Location: Onsite at 17850 Garland Groh Blvd, Hagerstown, Maryland, United States

Salary: $27.00–$37.00 per hour, plus potential annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through competitive pricing, merchandise presentation, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of local customer needs.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign, recognize, and develop Vision Center Associates.
• Provide quality eyewear services by consulting customers, selecting products, taking measurements, verifying prescriptions, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining optical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, including confidentiality, asset protection, safety, and quality assurance controls.
• Resolve customer and associate concerns under company guidelines and support the Open Door Policy.
• Lead community outreach, stakeholder relationships, business initiatives, performance measurement, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Completion of at least two years of college; or one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience; or two years of general work experience including one year of optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Ability to supervise Associates and maintain customer, prescription, and business records confidentially.
