Software Engineer 1 (DM) (PySpark)

Location: On-site in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, United States. United States citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance are required.

Salary: $52.46–$107.37 per hour

What you will do

• Develop capabilities that automate security evaluation and authorization processes.
• Create, maintain, and run Pig and PySpark analytics.
• Review data ingest tickets and merge requests with other developers.
• Deliver reliable and accurate data to end users.
• Support continuous monitoring, assessment, approvals, and network data gathering across project lifecycles.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• United States citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
• Strong background in analytics development, including Pig and PySpark.

Nice to have

• Patch management and IAVA tracking experience.
• Experience with Python, Java, Scala, NiFi, or Ansible.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
