What you will do

• Support NGA integration testing and image quality activities.
• Perform independent verification and validation of software, hardware, and information system releases.
• Create and apply image quality equations, imagery evaluations, image quality studies, and algorithm assessments.
• Model sensor, detector, atmospheric, and material properties across the image creation path.
• Source, select, qualify, and manage components and suppliers while improving cost, quality, and reliability.
• Develop vendor-selection procedures, qualify supplier changes, and maintain component qualification records.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in imaging science, physics, engineering, mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Typically 5–7 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years with a master’s degree, or 0–2 years with a PhD.
• Experience with imaging systems including PAN, IR, MSI/HSI, RADAR, and LIDAR on spaceborne or airborne platforms.
• Experience with simulation and modeling, algorithm description documentation, anomaly and artifact correction, and root cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of basic ELTs, MATLAB, mathematics, equations, functions, and sensor types including airborne, spaceborne, and FMV.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GEOINT systems, products, development, AGITK, ELTs, exploitation software, and related plug-ins.
• Ability to work independently and assume a team lead role.
